A full day out in a small group tour! Departing from central Valencia in a comfortable car, enjoy the countryside in our way the Utiel-Requena wine producting area. Valeria or Paulius, your wine experts will show you all the insights of the wineland. In Requena old city you will visit a medieval, quaint, underground winery and learn the traditional way of making wine. You will be introduced to the Bobal, the local red variety, among others, in the wine tasting with a suprise pairing. Your guide will take you around the narrow streets of Requena, and tell you the history of this remarkable town and its golden, silk-producing past. The tour will continue with a visit to a family-owned estate where you will enjoy their hospitality, visit their vineyards, winery and of course taste their best wines and have a bite of some local charcuterie. We will finish our tour with a traditional menu at a local family-run restaurant. Then just relax, admire the landscape on our way back to Valencia.

Albufera means nature, gastronomy, birdwatching, culture and history. Today we will discover the waterland were the famous Valencian rice is grown for paella and we will watch local fauna and flora. The Park was declared in 1986 and since then are thousands visitors who decide to visit every year. During the tour we will visit the bird observatory, where is possible (depends on the year time) to see flamingos, herons, storks or different kind of ducks. Then you will learn about the rice and the local culture and traditions embarking on a boat to do a ride on the lagoon and pass by some rice fields. We can see some typical "Barracas" (local farmers building) and the we Will finish on a tablet sharing the most popular Dish in Valencia and Spain, Paella (meal included).

It's a morning trip of about 4.5 hours, to the Utiel-Requena wine region. Your guide is a sommelier specialised in Valencian wines, who will tell you about the history of wine, about the grape varieties, and a lot more! At 9:30 you will be picked up by car/van; we’ll first go to the picturesque village of Requena, where we’ll visit some 9th century caves that were used for storing grain, oil and wine - the old clay pots are still there. We’ll do a first wine tasting there... From here we go to a winery near Utiel; we’ll go into the vineyards and through the winery, and end with a wine tasting of some of their wines. After the wine tasting we go back to Valencia, where we should arrive at around 14:00. This tour can be made wheelchair accessible - only on request, and in advance! If you are 1-2 people, or more than 8, contact me directly! Up to 4 people: I use a normal-sized MG e-vehicle, comfortable for 4 passengers.
