Discover an adventurous and scenic mountain hike followed by the relaxation of the natural thermal springs. This is a sensational way to escape the city and experience the natural beauty of the Valencian region. The tour kicks off with a 9 km/6-mile circular hike (3 hrs), leading you through a dramatic canyon framed by towering cliffs and pine forests. Enjoy panoramic mountain views and stunning gorge landscapes, taking in the tranquil atmosphere of this serene location. Alternatively, a shorter and easier hike of 6 km (2 hrs) can be chosen. From June to September only the shorter hike is possible. The thermal springs of Montanejos maintain a temperature of 25 °C/77 °F. Take a dip and swim in the crystal blue water. You also visit the horizontal water jet created from a dam and the reservoir. You can choose to have lunch in a village restaurant or bring your own lunch to have at the springs. In July and August a swim under a waterfall can be chosen instead of the shorter hike.

The journey starts with a brief drive into the charming La Huerta region - Valencia's verdant agricultural heartland, with its ancient Moorish irrigation systems and traditional farmhouses. Discover the origins of Valencia's renowned horchata - a refreshing, sweet drink made from tiger nuts. Sip on this delightful drink at a traditional horchateria in Alboraya, the birthplace of horchata, complemented by fresh pastry fingers. Then, a 40 minute drive into the mountains to visit some iconic rock cliffs. Stand on top of the 600 m cliffs with views of the National Park mountains , Mediterranean sea and Valencia city. Sit, relax and take some special photos. Then take a short and easy mountain walk for 20 mins through the pine forests before lunch. Lunch is in a very local restaurant. They cook their paellas in the traditional way, using open wood fires to give it the authentic taste. After lunch you will be taken back to the city.

Swim in a rocky cove's crystalline turquoise waters while surrounded by cliffs over 200m high. Walk through untouched nature on an optional hike. Taking off from Valencia, arrive at the rock formation cove of La Cala del Moraig. Then, discover the Cave of the Arches, a natural rock formation that forms the arches at the point of departure to the Mediterranean Sea. Later, join an optional hike through the mountains and cliffs. The route is short and scenic (3km each way), and you can see the less visited but very beautiful Cala Llebeig (old Fisherman's Cove). If you choose not to join the hike, you can continue enjoying Cala Moraig before returning to Valencia.
