Authentic Stories from Diners
Solid 4 star all-round. The veggie burger was good, but the lasagne was a little bland. Service was good, but we were not informed we'd be charged for water, which we assumed was given to us by the way it was suggested by the waiter. As others have said, the table layout is a little strange in places, and the chairs can become uncomfortable as they have low backs on them. However, if you're looking for a fully vegetarian menu, this seems to be the place to go.
A hidden gem. What a great vegan/vegetarian restaurant. We had the macro vegan pumpkin lasagna which was a flavour bomb and the black rice which was also very tasty. There is a wide menu to choose from and the restaurant offers good value for money. The staff were friendly and warm too.
Very nice vegetarian dinner, served timely and delicious. Service was good but server did not explain the various pates on the mixed pates platter so we had to guess what we were eating. Other dishes were explained. At time of paying the bill the tips credit card option on the credit card machine start at 15% tips then goes up when in fact it should start at 5%, 10%, 15% etc. The chairs are really not comfortable to eat as you cant lean back on the hard wooden back. I would give 4.5 to the chef, 4.0 for the service, 3.5 for comfort. Having said that it was a good meal, good experience and we are happy we went there.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Casa Viva Ruzafa is an absolute gem in Valencia. The flavor combinations here are truly magical, creative pairings I’d never thought of before turned out heavenly on the plate. Every dish felt unique and inspiring. The lasagna is a must-try, rich and satisfying, and the pizzas were incredible with perfect crust and toppings. Desserts were just as impressive, offering unique twists that made them stand out. They offer both vegan and vegetarian options, all made with care and attention to flavor. We only wish we had more time to go back for another meal. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for fresh, inventive, and delicious food in Valencia.
Lovely place. Super chill at 16:30~17:00. The kitchen closes at 15:00, I believe, then they open for dinner again. I just went for coffee; had a café con leche and the tiramisu. Both were great! Service was superb and the bathroom was clean. Prices are fair (especially for a vegan place!) Definitely will come back for an actual meal!
