In Requena old city you will visit a medieval, quaint, underground winery and learn the traditional way of making wine. You will be introduced to the Bobal, the local red variety, among others, in the wine tasting with a suprise pairing. Your guide will take you around the narrow streets of Requena, and tell you the history of this remarkable town and its golden, silk-producing past. The tour will continue with a visit to a family-owned estate where you will enjoy their hospitality, visit their vineyards, winery and of course taste their best wines and have a bite of some local charcuterie. We will finish our tour with a traditional menu at a local family-run restaurant. Then just relax, admire the landscape on our way back to Valencia.

Later, join an optional hike through the mountains and cliffs. The route is short and scenic (3km each way), and you can see the less visited but very beautiful Cala Llebeig (old Fisherman's Cove). If you choose not to join the hike, you can continue enjoying Cala Moraig before returning to Valencia.

We will eat lunch somewhere typical (lunch price not included and we cater to all lunch budgets) and you will see fabulous Roman remains of Sagunto, where the 2nd Punic War started, and the biggest Roman fort still left on the Iberian peninsula.
